A man withdraws from the outside world. He barricades himself in his apartment, he has banned all watches, removed computers and telephones and avoids the sound of his steps. In order to avoid the pizza delivery man, he feeds on astronaut food. In order to be spared from mail and advertising, he bribes the mailman. Everything written is systematically destroyed. All the trash is piled up on a growing mountain in the antechamber, which he no longer enters. Tired of living, he counts up to a thousand. And then... finally enough?
In a highly concentrated reading, Samuel Koch performed the haunting one-man play Endlich Schlüß by Peter Turrini directed by Globart director Fabian Burstein at the Days of Transformation in Melk Abbey.
In the presence of the author, the evening caused storms of enthusiasm.
The reading can now be seen once again at the Theater in der Josefstadt.
Globart members benefit from the Globart network and from discounted participation fees at all events.
