Little Sun

“Little Sun” builds small, sun-shaped solar lamps and distributes them worldwide by creating sustainable trade routes and jobs in remote communities. The organisation helps to build small shops in these places and provides retailers with lamps at a reduced price. “Little Sun” particularly attracts attention with its artistic projects. For instance, the QMA Gallery in Qatar presented a sun garden only consisting of these lights, and at the Tate Modern it was possible to experience complete blackouts at the museum, in which the only source of light was the “Little Sun” that they were handed. However the most impressive usage of these lamps was in the creation of the Sunlight graffiti.
