Schwingshackl Michael

Michael Schwingshackl was born in 1980. He is an eco-social activist, an unconventional thinker, a visionary, an enthusiastic athlete and a traffic engineer who lives in close touch with nature. In 1999/2000 he completed his alternative civil service in Ecuador, being involved in a project regarding children who live on the street. Upon his return he started studying Business Engineering and Traffic Engineering at the Technical University of Graz. His main focus lies on electromobility, energy management and ethics. He is currently working on his dissertation which will explore the topic of alternative drive and mobility concepts. Schwingshackl is also an active member of the plattform Footprint and the initiative Zivilgesellschaft. Since 2008 he acts as a multiplier and speaker for Footprint where he specialises in sustainable mobility.
