Hüther, Gerald, Dr. rer. nat. Dr. med. habil.,neurobiologist. Since 2015 director of the academy for unfolding capabilities.

Studied biology and promotion at the University of Leipzig, habilitation at the faculty of medicine at the University of Göttingen. Scientific activities at the zoological institute at the University of Leipzig and Jena, at the Max-Planck Institute for experimental medicine Göttingen as well as a Heisenberg scholar of the DFG and the psychiatric clinic of the University of Göttingen.

Scientific fields: influence of earlier experiences on brain development, effects of fear and stress and the meaning of emotional reactions. He is an author of multiple publications and popular scientific books.
