Borries Friedrich von

Friedrich von Borries is architect and professor for theory of design at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. He operates at the interface between urban development, architecture, design and art. His main focus of work is the relation between design and social development.  In Berlin he is head of the project office Friedrich von Borries. In 2016 he published „Weltentwerfen – Eine politische Designtheorie” („Designing worlds – a political design theory”) at Suhrkamp publishing house.
