Reichl Manfred

Manfred Reichl is an industrial engineer with an education in law, and studied in Graz, Stanford and at the Massachusetts Institute if Technology (MIT). He worked as a structural engineer, then as a university assistant for management/organisation at the Technical University of Graz; he subsequently worked for the computer enterprise Hewlett Packard in Germany before switching to Roland Berger Strategy Consultants where he was responsible for marketing in Austria and Eastern Europe. He then went on to form an equity group in the sector of pharmaceuticals, engineering and the Internet. Parallel to this he acted as a senior adviser for Klaus Schwab/World Economic Forum and the UBS Investment Bank. Today he works on the supervisory board of various companies and as a lecturer for globalisation at the University of Economics and Business Vienna. When required, he supports the executive boards of larger companies when it comes to strategic, organisational and governance-orientated questions. Mr. Reichl lives near Vienna where he – whenever his wife allows the noise inside the house – plays the saxophone and the clarinet.
