Association, society and foundation together form the three pillars of the think tank GLOBART.
+++
This manifold cooperation enables GLOBART to be a transparent and independent platform, which is annually reviewed by auditors and tax authorities.
+++
The GLOBART association was founded in 1997 by Bijan Khadem-Missagh as well as by a founding committee (Mag. Hildegard Siesz, Univ.-Prof. DDr. Joachim Angerer, Shirin Khadem-Missagh, Prof. Dr. Heinrich Reinhart, HR Dr. Gerd Oppitz) within the framework of the chamber music festival “Allegro Vivo”. The aim was to establish a philosophicum, which would give thought to the question of how artists and executives could figure as role models. Association

Consequently, the GLOBART foundation evolved – a think tank engaging in topics about our future. The “Alfred Herrhausen Society”, “Avenir Suisse” and the “Yehudi-Menuhin-Foundation” served as role models, which ultimately encouraged us to establish a foundation, with the aim to cooperate with partners on an equal footing. What would a think tank be without any scientific ground? From this reason the third pillar arose – the GLOBART society. With the support of donations we are able to publish regularly, to invite scientists to take part in our goal of developing new ideas concerning the future, and to create the necessary foundation for our annual theme.
