Koch Ferdinand

Ferdinand Koch is head of the resource department at denkstatt GmbH and concerns himself with questions of energy and material efficiency, product ratings, logistics and supply chain management. He previously was in the position of managing director of logistics at Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG, executive director of environmental cargo partners, department head and manager of waste economy at the Innsbrucker Kommunalbetriebe AG and head of process and environmental technics of the Austrian research centre Seibersdorf GmbH (AIT). Koch graduated from the University of Natural Researches and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) and did a post-graduate management degree at the Danube university of Krems. He has a variety of job licenses and is a registered energy auditor of transport. Koch holds speeches on logistics at the Business University of Vienna (WU), the MU Leoben and a selection of polytechnic schools. He is co-author of the green book Sustainable Logistics (Nachhaltige Logistik), published in 2011 and Sustainable Logistics in Urban Areas (Nachhaltige Logistik in Urbanen Räumen), published in 2014.
