Awareness for more mindfulness

Our thoughts and actions should not be determined by exorbitant growth and consumption, but rather by respect, tolerance, noble intentions and ideas for a close-knit community.

Mindfulness originates from buddhism and it is always practiced alongside ethical behaviour and wisdom.

It was the American molecular biologist Jon Kabat-Zinn who spread the word of this practice around the Western world. By the end of the 1970s, he had established the 8-week MBSR training (mindfulness-based stress reduction).

Mindfulness unites speech, body awareness, motion, feelings and thoughts. We want to conciliate all these elements in order to be in touch with ourselves, reflect our own emotions and thoughts and experience the now, says founder and head of the association for mindfulness Osterloh, Maria Kluge.

In cooperation with the association for mindfulness Osterloh, we offer instructions for mindfulness trainings, targeted at pedagogues, and provide a free copy of the book “The Toolbox is You”.
